Exnihilo Music is a full service music production service in the Washington DC area. Originally established in 1986 in Los Angeles, California as Ionian Ridge Music; the offices have been located in Alberta, Canada; Boca Raton, Florida; and near DC since 2002.

Web design

We've been building websites since Mosaic was a thing. We've watched the web mature over the years, and have grown with it. Back in the day, we built everything by hand...because you had to! 

Today, we're big fans of the power of content management systems. There are a bunch out there and have worked with many, but we're big fans of Drupal.

App development

Yea, you need an app. Who doesn't, right? We develop desktop and mobile apps that work on all the major desktop and mobile platforms. Our development tool of choice is LiveCode. Never heard of it? It's been around in one form or another since way before the internet.

Web hosting

We started a web hosting company in 1994. Back then, a 14.4k modem was all that, and our web server would be laughed at today. Over the years, our hosting capabilities grew until we were hosting hundreds of domains.

Today, hosting isn't our main deal, but if you don't know where to begin we can advise and maybe even provide resources for small sites.
